Katie Logemann

At New Hope since 2010
BA, Elementary Education, Wheaton College
MLS, Indiana University

Katie grew up in the worlds of J.R.R Tolkien, Beverly Cleary, C.S. Lewis, Maurice Sendak, Madeline L'Engle and many others. Her childhood was rich with storybook friends and an understanding and enchantment found in worlds and lives far outside her own daily existence. Rarely could one find her without a book in hand. This remains true today, though the titles more often represent the growing tastes of her three literary daughters.

Raised in the midwest, Katie attended Wheaton College (IL) and earned a BA in Elementary Education with certifications in Middle School, Reading, and Music. After teaching for a time in Southern Indiana, she chose to further her education earning a MLS (Masters in Library Science) from Indiana University with a focus on school library and readers advisory.
