Linda Libert

At New Hope since 2003
BFA Education, Massachusetts College of Art
MA Communication, Spring Arbor University, Michigan

Mrs. Linda Libert is the first to admit that she was born talking . . . the perfect prerequisite for teaching New Hope's Public Speaking courses. Her eclectic background includes a Bachelor's degree in education, a Master’s degree in communication, and years of classroom teaching in public and private schools. Linda also has an extensive public speaking career that was launched in 1994 through the Pregnancy Care Center of Haverhill and evolved in 2003 to her own business/ministry: Heart to Heart Talks LLC, which focused her presentations on personal virtue, strong families, and savvy citizenship. Through the years Linda’s versatility as a speaker has been on display in diverse venues: testimony at the Massachusetts statehouse on behalf of parental rights legislation, workshops at homeschool conventions, radio and TV appearances, and a run for a local selectman’s seat.

When not at New Hope, Linda works for the Summit Educational Group of Newton, Massachusetts as a private tutor, a specialty programs classroom teacher and a corporate trainer. She even speaks internationally via video-conferencing technology.

Joyfully married to Bob since 1980, Linda has three articulate adult daughters, all of whom were homeschooled. She maintains outside interests such as choral singing, guitar, art, photography, bicycling and soccer that help her connect with students. Linda is an active member of the historic Byfield Parish Church in Georgetown.
